Skyler Anna Shaye (born Skyler Anna Shuster October 14, 1986) in Los Angeles, California. Skaye is an American actress, best known for her role as Cloe in Bratz: The Movie. Shaye’s father is South African and is of Dutch, German, and English descent, while her mother was an actress and singer in New York City, and is of Anglo-Russian-American descent. After graduating with her GED at the age of 16, Skyler became emancipated in order to more easily purse her entertainment career. Her godfather, Academy Award winning actor and father of Angelina Jolie, Jon Voight. It was Voight who gave her an understanding on approaching her work through the Stanislavski Method.
Skyler has been acting since a child, and grew up in a family in show business. Skyler’s appeared in her first film, The Tin Soldier, when she was 8 years old. Shaye had a recurring role on the remake of the old Family Affair for the then Warner Brother’s Network. She then went onto the HBO movie Manhood which was John Ritter’s last film. Later, she guest starred on Criminal Minds, Veronica Mars and in the pilot of Grey’s Anatomy playing a young woman diagnosed with a brain aneurysm which caused uncontrollable seizures. Her film career includes portraying Lily in Manhood, Kylie in SuperBabies: Bay Geniuses 2, Lulu in The Legend of Simon Conjurer, and Cloe in Bratz: The Movie.
