Jessica Suzanne Lowndes (born November 8, 1988) is a Canadian actress and singer. She is best known for the role as Adrianna Tate-Duncan on 90210. Jessica Lowndes was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She studied at Pacific Academy in Surrey. She dated former 90210 recurring cast member Adam Gregory in 2008.
Lowndes got her acting debut in the 2005 TV Movie, Saving Milly as Andrea Kondracke. This was followed by a guest role in an episode of Masters Of Horror, and she was later cast in a recurring role on the sitcom Alice, I Think. She has since made guest appearances in Kyle XY. Her next film role was a supporting role in the Lifetime movie To Have and to Hold released in 2006. In 2008 Lowndes appeared in Autopsy and The Haunting of Molly Hartley along with a recurring role in the drama series Greek as Mandi. In 2008 Lowndes landed a recurring role in the series 90210 a spin-off of the 90s TV teen drama Beverly Hills, 90210 as Adrianna Tate-Duncan. In November 2008 her role was upgraded to series regular. Lowndes starred in the Canadian horror film Altitude in 2010.
Lowndes made her musical debut on 90210 singing in the show’s fictional school play, in the 2009 episode Woman’s Intuition. She serenaded her character’s boyfriend, singing and playing the guitar. In a May 2011 interview on OK! TV, Lowndes revealed that she was finishing off her album in the United Kingdom. She explained the album is “sexy, pop dance music, like Rihanna and Katy Perry.” In mid-late 2011, her first single, Fool was released on iTunes. On November 11, 2011, Lowndes released another single titled I Wish I Was Gay on iTunes.The official music video which was directed by Frank E. Flowers, was released the same day on her YouTube channel. On January 25, 2012, she released her first EP.

Jessica Lowndes was discovered by the producers of the series Masters of Horror in 2005, where she was set to guest star in one episode as Adrianna. Contrary to their best laid plans however, Jessica proved to be too hot with the fan base, forcing the producers to write her into the script full time. We’re not surprised. It wasn’t long before she found herself on 90210, and little by little she’s launching herself a nice little music career along the way as well. In September of 2009 Lowndes was on hand to sing God Bless America at a Dodgers game, and in addition to a few singles of her own, Lowndes was also featured on Ironik’s single Falling In Love. We here at Smartasses are falling in love with Jessica too. For us, she has that slow-burn kind of sexuality, that quietly, and methodically, gets under your skin and never lets go.
