Gislaine Rodrigues Ferreira (born July 19 of 1983) is a model and journalist Brazilian who was elected Miss Brazil on April 26 , 2003 in São Paulo. Before her coronation, she had already won titles in other beauty contests. She was Queen of the Marist College Campus and National Queen of Corn in the city of Patos de Minas, as well as Miss Tocantins, and she also participated in many other pageants, among them Miss Minas Gerais.
Gislaine ranked sixth in the Miss Universe pageant which took place on June 3rd, 2003 in Panama. She was only one point behind Japan’s Miyako Miyazaki in fifth place.
Gislaine is a journalist and a professional model, notable for working with advertising campaigns, fashion shows, event presentations, and participating on the juries of beauty pageants throughout Brazil. As a journalist, she makes special articles for newspapers and TV stations, having participated in the coverage of Miss Universe 2004 in Quito, Ecuador, and as a correspondent for Rede Bandeirantes. -Wikipedia
