Bridget Fuentez Farrell (born February 10th, 1986) is an American athlete from Tomball, Texas who played Outside Hitter for the Alabama Crimson Tide volleyball team from 2004-2007. She is the daughter of Ben and Barbara Fuentez, has an older brother, Benjamin, and three sisters Brittany, Brooke, and Blair. Her Crimson Tide teammates nicknamed her Daisy, after the MTV star Daisy Fuentes. Her sister Blair signed to play volleyball with the Miami Hurricanes in 2011. Curiously enough, this makes Bridget’s sister Blair teammates with Lane Carico, the sister of Taylor Carico, who not unlike Bridget, was also named to Smartasses Top 100 Sexiest Women List in 2009.
Bridget was named a Second Team All-SEC player in both 2005 and 2006. In her sophomore year in 2005 she was voted the team’s permanent co-captain and led the team in kills with 457. Fuentez was selected as a part of the USA/BIP team in 2007 that consists of outstanding players from the USA Tryouts who are not on the USA Training or Junior National teams. The Tomball, Texas, native was just one of three players on the 14-member squad who did not compete for a West coast school. After college, Fuentez went on to play professional volleyball in Spain and Chile, as well as being a volleyball Administrative Assistant at the University of Virginia.
Bridget was married on January 7th, 2010 to Jeremy Farrell at a ceremony in the Virgin Islands.
